If you enjoy spending time in active way and field trips are not difficult for you. If you are not afraid of challenges and you are willing to participate in both indoor and outdoor activities, then this is what you need, we are waiting for you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>A Course on Natural Sciences in English covering selected issues in ecology, earth science and biology.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">During the course you will learn among others about natural curiosities of Kwidzyn and its surroundings, as well as you will learn to see local issues through the prism of global processes. Of course you will have the opportunity to practice your English and acquire the ability to communicate freely but first of all your English will at last become a tool to understand complicated problems, a tool to develop your passions &#8211; no longer a school subject.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>What do we expect from the participants?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">to be interested in environmental issues and willing to deepen their knowledge<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">to be able to communicate in English at A2 level (pre-intermediate)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">willing and active participation in field activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">good sense of humour and positive attitude<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>What we offer<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">2 hour classes twice a week conducted in English by a qualified natural sciences educator<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">free-of-charge activities &#8211; project financed by Miasto Kwidzyn and EU funds<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">opportunity to use educational facilities (equipment, library)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">encounters with wildlife during field activities, kayak trips, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">great fun and friendly atmosphere<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The course will be led by Piotr Opacian \u2013 not only an English teacher with long experience but also, what matters even more here, nature-lover, outdoor enthusiast, nature photographer, Master in Earth Sciences. Piotr knows the natural environment of Kwidzyn area very well and has been photographing it for many years now.
