Idea tego spotkania jest w swojej formule podobna do idei \u201eOboz\u00f3w matematycznych\u201d. Celem jest rozwijanie zdolno\u015bci matematyczno\u2013fizycznych, logicznego my\u015blenia, a przede wszystkim zdobywanie wi\u0119kszej swobody w obcowaniu z przedmiotami \u015bcis\u0142ymi oraz radzenie sobie z presj\u0105 czasu przy rozwi\u0105zywaniu zada\u0144. Formu\u0142a nocy pozwoli\u0142a spojrze\u0107 na budynek szkolny, sale lekcyjne inaczej ni\u017c za dnia, w czasie lekcji. Korytarze ciche i ciemne, dzwonk\u00f3w nie by\u0142o s\u0142ycha\u0107, jedynie w\u0142\u0105czaj\u0105cy si\u0119 alarm zak\u0142\u00f3ca\u0142 nieco cisz\u0119. Opr\u00f3cz pracy by\u0142a wsp\u00f3lna kolacja, herbata, kawa (zaparzane z nauczycielskich dzbank\u00f3w) , drzemki przy stolikach (z g\u0142ow\u0105 na poduszce) lub materacach do \u0107wicze\u0144 gimnastycznych.
